Don't know what to do anymore???

Hi there,
Well my little Terry has decided that climbing on every surface is a good idea.
He knows that he is not supposed to be doing it because when we go to remove him he lays down and won't let us pick him up like a toddler throwing a silent tantrum ( wouldn't those be nice

)
He ahs also gotten into the habit of getting excited and then biting my face. I know he doest mean to do it but I nee him to stop. His little kitten teeth hurt.
If anybody has any advice for me I would really appriciate it.

Sounds like normal kitty behavior to me? How old is this cat/kitten?

Does he have cat trees to climb? Climbing is natural behavior, and there's no way you can stop a cat from doing it altogether. It's probably best to establish just a few "taboo zones", like the range, kitchen sink and adjacent counter top, and let him climb to his heart's content elsewhere.
As far as the biting is concerned - say "Ouch!", and let him know that it hurts, or hiss at him.

He'll settle down eventually, but as far as climbing goes, my two are 3 and 1 year old and they still climb
