Wow! I can't remember the last time I started a thread in the lounge.

I just wanted to tell you guys that from next Tuesday until the 24th of this month I have my final exams - which will determine whether I get into college next year or not! I have five exams and I'm studying so hard right now.

Also last night I got employed at one of our local supermarkets for two shifts a week during school time and some extra shifts during my two month break from school.

Please wish me luck in my exams. Out of a total of "90 credits" available to me I only need to pass 20 of them to get into next year because I've been working hard all year getting my internals done.

Thanks guys!

The things I am really concentrating on are IMT Design, IMT Communications, IMT Spreadsheets, History Interpreting Resources, History Essay, History POV's, History NZ Question, Geology, Biology, Astronomy, English formal writing, and maybe a few of the English 2 credit papers - I need to study heaps for them!

French Listening, Speaking & Writing will be a piece of cake!

The only two things I'm not going to focus any of my energy on are Chemistry and Physics, they absolutely bore me to death and I didn't listen in class when these were being taught!

The reason I have no maths papers is because I do internally assessed maths

Thanks Karen!

All my friends have jobs and they are all saving up for their educations, so I thought it was about time I jumped on the band wagon!

For the internal assessments I have 61 credits - I have failed twelve.

Three for my static image and three for my reading log in English and two each in Triganometry, Graphs and Probability.

I'm going hard on the exams though - so if I'm on here too much tell me to get off!

Thanks!!

Here's hoping!!

My favourite subject out of everything at school is the Black Civil Rights Movement of the US - it is just so interesting and I just love MLK's non-violent approach. I think out of anyone that has ever been alive, he is the fellow I would want to meet. So inspiring.

Sam, you are so brilliant - you will do great. I have never known a young person so together, honest! My father made me read the Biography of Malcolm X when I was 13. He said he wanted me to see all sides of humanity and make my own decisions based on the true good in people. You will do great!!
