red spots under my eyes??

well, I came home from school yesterday feeling sick. I figured that my lunch was a little too "ripe" and a few hours after I ate, I threw up.

Anyways, I wake up this morning and my stomach still feels sick. Plus now I just noticed some red spots under both my eyes. It's not itchy or bothering me in any ways but it looks like someone took a red pen and drew spots on me while I was sleeping.

any ideas what it could be?

Yes - I have had that before. When you vomited, you broke some blood vessels around your eye.

I'd agree. Those spots are probably from the strain of wretching. I used to get them too if I vomited too violently. Actually last time I was really sick, I burst all of the bloodvessels in my left eyeball... which made it a rather pretty red colour. Good for scaring the kids with though It's most likely that, nothing harmless - just very slight bruising. Get well soon!

Like the others said, it's nothing life-threatening. Just the side effect of strainin' the vessels there and whatnot.

My boys have done that from too much or too hard.. it's normal.. put something cold on your eyes.

I've done that too, especially after drinking! Lol Did I say that out loud?
