Newbs in Michigan

Hi All,

Great to be a part of this site. My fiance and I have only had our kittens for 4 days and are already learning a lot from this site. We "adopted" two 6 week old kittens that were dropped off at Pet Supply Plus. Probably kind of risky since we didn't know anything about them but we took them anyways. We have a black male and a tiger-ish female. We sadly discovered that they have fleas and we are trying very hard to rid them of them, for both them and ourselves. We look forward to talking with everybody and getting to know then and their cats!

I would get them to a vet for a checkup and to fix that flea problem! Better to do it sooner rather than later!

They are doing a lot better now. We combed them with a flea comb last night and gave them a bath with flea shampoo. They were surprisingly calm after they got used to it. Hopefully that will help quite a bit. After we dried them off I still found 1 flea on each of them and removed them. We'll see how it goes but hopefully we are getting rid of them quickly!!

We are dealing with fleas now too...I did`nt even know we had them til i was informed here on TCS...It`s a great site for info! Glad to have you with us!
