Awwww, poor baby!

I was lucky that you noticed in time, Stephanie, and had an excellent vet to visit!
My goodness, hasn't Serenity grown?!!

Serenity, you silly billy!
Now you stop jumping and get that paw better!

Kisses to Serenity and of course big sister, Sierra!

What a brave girl! I suppose we must all get into these `scrapes'
as part of growing up - and hasn't she grown so much! Lucky she's got such a loving meowmy and big sister to take care of her - was Sierra concerned for her? I bet she is very solicitous and watchful of her little sister - especially with that big bandage!

Sending lots of scritches and belly rubs to little Serenity and of course some for sweet Sierra too!

Good grief...6 stitches? Serenity really did a number on herself.

You have found a really caring vet for your sweet girls.

Serenity is as cute as can be with her little paw all wrapped up.

Hugs to Sierra & Serenity.

Aw so glad all is well. Sounds like you have one keeper of a vet. We have a vet like that and it give us so much peace of mind. I understand exactly how you feel.

Poor baby girl! I would have been so scared for her, Stephanie! Very happy to hear that it all turned out okay. Still can't believe how much she's grown!!!!

Poor little Serenity! 6 stitches is an awful lot for such a little girl! I hope she feels better soon!

Isn't it amazing how much they want to play even when they should be hurting? My 2 wouldn't stop playing after I brought them home from thier spaying. Scared me so much I made them spend a few days in thier kennels more than usual!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Thank you guys so much for caring about my little baby!
We are both so grateful for all your love and get well wishes!
I honestly didn't realize how much she had grown until learning she weighed 6.4 lbs! I was shocked!
Now, you guys are so surprised by her new pictures. I just can't believe my little one is growing up so quickly! Both she and Sierra will always be my little bitty babies, though, whatever their size!

Serenity has been much more sedate today. She has mainly wanted to sleep, has a poor appetite, and feels as if she may have bit of a fever. This may also be in part to having received her Rabies vaccine. She usually feels a little poorly the couple of days following her vaccines. She is also taking this antibiotic that may be making her tummy feel a little yucky. Poor baby
She's still so cute shaking her little leg all around every time she stands up!

We will be changing her bandage tomorrow (Wed), so I will be able to have a look at how well her boo boo is healing. As I type this, she is curled under my neck like such a sweet baby and precious Sierra is at my head. My sweet little loves!

I loved your description of both Sierra & Serenity cuddled up next to you. Awwww......

Of course I will be watching closely for your next update.
