I noticed somebody looking for rainbow trout recipes below. Here is my all-purpose seasoning mix for everything from scrambled eggs to talapia:
1 tbsp. fresh or dried parsley flakes
1 tbsp. fresh chopped onion or dried onion flakes
1 tbsp. fresh chopped garlic or garlic powder
1 tsp. Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
I only measure when making hamburgers -- this would be for a pound or two of meat. When doing fish or poultry I just sprinkle on liberally.
It's really terrific!
