Hello fellow kitty lovers! My name is Cathie and I just now joined this forum. I live in the mountains of Pennsylvania, and have two cats, Mama who is about 20 years old and is content to sleep, eat, and use her box; and a daughter of hers, Beeper, who is about 9 years old and is my indoor baby. She is so cute and gives my husband and I such wonderful, unconditional (well for a cat) love.
Unfortunately, recently we lost our other cat, Cleo and a semi-feral stray that we were taking care of, Chester - they were out one night and disappeared about three weeks ago. I still call to them and place kibble out during the day (you don't dare leave this out at night because of varmints). We have coyote in these parts, but they are worse this year for coming in close to human homes. We are sure this is what happened to Cleo and Chester. I will be posting pictures of her soon and a tribute to her memory for all to read. This is why now, Beeper is an indoor cat. She wasn't happy about it at first but is getting used to it. From now on, all my cats are going to be indoor cats. I'll post pictures of her as well (as soon as I learn HOW - I'm new to this internet stuff).
Now you can see why I chose chattycath as my nickname - Sorry if I've overstayed my welcome. Please write to me and let me know about my new friends and fellow feline lovers here. Thanks, and blessings to all.
