What Resolution Do You Browse In?

Interesting thread, Ryan. Mine is 800 by 600 on a 3 year old 17 inch monitor.

1024 x 768 here.

I have no clue!

Thanks and keep voting people. I'm going to drag this thread around kicking and screaming until it gets well into a three digit figure for the vote tally. Okay fine... so maybe I won't be kicking.

800 by 600 here too! I think I recently adjusted it - can't remember why though!

I'm quite interested to learn that my laptop's resolution is 1024 x 768

Well they say you learn something new everyday and today I've learnt that I browse in 1024 x 768 resolution. I appear to fall into the most popular category. It's the settings my computer came with

I use 1024 x 768. Sometimes I like to use a bigger one, too. I couldn't stand 800 x 600--everything would be so huge!

1280x1024

1024 x 768, which seems to be the best size for my notebook (I've experimented).

Never really use any other. Except when games demand it, of course.

I just tried a couple of other resolutions other than what came on the computer, and I must say, it looked really strange. First I changed it to 1280x960, and things got smaller which was cool, but also it seemed to make Paul's face, which is my Wallpaper, longer and thinner. Then I tried the most common setting of 1024x768, and Paul's face became rounder and chubbier, not to mention that everything became larger. The resolution my computer came in, is 1152x884 and Paul's face looks the way it's supposed to look. I'd love to have the smaller text, though, but I don't like the fact that the other resolutions distort his face a bit.

My resolution is not in the poll. I browse at 1440x900

I need multiple options. At home (better video card) I use 1280x1064. At work I use 1024x768.

I just tried changing my resolution, checking out the different ones, and OUCH - they hurt my eyes!!! I think I'll definately stick to the one I'm at now

I feel this is an extremely personal question and I refuse to answer it .
