What Resolution Do You Browse In?

This is a very serious poll, not one of my silly ones. Do you see me laughing? Well... do ya?!

Okay, I blew it.

Anyway, yeah... I would like to know what screen resolution everyone browses in. I'll be dragging up this thread at will until it gets a ton of votes, so please, vote away.

Note for the less savvy: To check your resolution, right click anywhere on your desktop wallpaper and select "Properties" from the drop down list. Click on the Settings tab at the top and you will see your resolution.

(Poll selections will magically appear. Eligibility is strictly restricted, constricted and convicted to this universe only. I did`nt have a clue what it meant either.....so I called my son-in-law ,who is also "The Computer Guy" who builds puters and does all the work on mine. (He works for me for payment in homemade chocolate chip cookies I might add....LUCKY ME!!!)
ANYHOW .......(back on subject) ......he told me that mine is set at 600 x 800....so now I know! (Although I still don`t know what it means...only what the numbers are!)

I chose 1280 x 960 but I really browse in 1280 x 1024!

I can't stand the really big icons, they look grainy to me. I'm such a nerd.

Right click on your desktop, and select 'properties'. On the settings tab it will tell you your screen resolution.

Or, go to your Control Panel, Select Display and click on the settings tab.

Mine is set at 1024/768 & I don't even know why.

What resolution do you use Ryan?

1024 x 768 for me...I don't know why, I use my work computer and thats what its set at...I guess it works for me!

Well I picked the highest one you had, but it's still too low, I thought I'd tell you. At hiome I run at 1900x 1600 (That second number may not be right) LOL

I brouse at 1152x864. I haven't adjusted it or anything, so it's the resolution the computer came in.

I use 1024 x 768.

Steph, Snoozin', Shem and Stampit, and anyone else: To check your resolution, right click anywhere on your desktop wallpaper and select "Properties" from the drop down list. Click on the Settings tab at the top and you will see your resolution.

To those who used a higher resolution, but still voted with the next closest one, thanks, because what I really want to know is how many people are NOT using 640 x 480 and 800 x 600, so voting still helps.

me, too - the icons are all pixelated... and i like to see as much of my wallpaper as possible, since it's my furbabies pictures!

i haven't tried anything larger that the 1024x768, tho.
