Hi

I have a cat named Chewy and he adopted us about 5 years ago(showed up on Thanksgiving). He has come a long way.. in the beginning you could not even pick him up or when other people came over he would hide (he is an outdooe/indoor cat). He now jumps on your lap and even sleeps with me... but he is VERY agressive because he (we believe) was ferrel. I now rescued a cat that was going to be taken to the pound. Her name is belle and is about 2 years old and she is the sweetest cat... I know I have to slowly introduce them, but do you think Chewy will except her... every cat in the neihborhood now avoids our house because of him.... Please advise
Thank you

For my last 2 cat-to-cat introductions, I have been aided by a Bach Flower combination called "Peacemaker." It's very simple to use...you can add it to the water, mix it in the food, dilute it with spring water & spray it around the house, or even massage it onto the cranky kitty's head. My youngest girl cat is a holy terror when it comes to other cats, but when we use the "Peacemaker" she is far sweeter & more manageable. Still still does the occasional hiss, but NOTHING like when we don't use it. If you're interested, you can check out the site for more information: http://www.spiritessence.com

Well they had there first encounter today. I feed then both one on each side of a door. When Chewy realized there was a cat on the other side of the door he threw himself at the door and she hissed and swatted. So I ordered the peacemaker... hopefully the next time I try it it will go better. My next step is to trade their bedding.
