Yesterday I gave my Eight year old cat away because she was urinating everywhere, including the litter box,and I tried everything.I am a wreck today.I'm thinking of trying to get her back, but I don't know if that's possible.

Did you have her vet checked for illness, i.e., URI before deciding to give her up?

She may have been having issues because she is ill.

Did you give her to a friend or humane society?

I hope that you can get your cat back! Now that you know about TCS, you have many, many resources to help you and your cat develop positive answers to the issues. There are so many possiblities as to why she was doing that, but there are that many more people here who can offer you direction! Not to mention the TCS board magic!
{{{Prayers & vibes}}} that your kitty-girl gets to return to you, and for healing to correct her problem(s).
If you have placed her with a private party, I am sure that you can find them another kitty that they would love to rescue, hopefully 2
You can check the threads in Cat S.O.S. or the local ads. Please keep us posted! We are here to support you whatever the outcome!

Inappropriate urination is almost always caused by a urinary tract infection or blockage. If you manage to get your cat back, please take her to the vet immediately. The vet will need to take a urine sample to test for signs of infection or crystals.

Unfortunately, if you took her to the shelter and told them about the potty problems, they probably went on and put her down because she would not be adoptable.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that you can get her back and get her treated for the illness she is likely to have.
