What is the best kind of product to use for an urine odor in carpet? I bought natures miracle and I was going to try it this weekend but I was wondering if there was a better product. The stain is in the carpet and it might of reached the bottom, if so are there any tricks to get rid of the smell?

Thanks, Alaynna.

Zero Odor

Zero Odor was highly recommended to me from a breeder. I'm still waiting for my order to come. I've used Nature's Miracle up until now and this is supposed to be better.

Thanks, I might look into getting the Zero Odor .....if the natures miracle doesn't work. I was looking at the website that you linked and it looks like Zero Odor is pretty strong...thanks again

When we were housebreaking our dog, we used 1/3 white Vinegar and 2/3 water in a spray bottle and it worked REALLY good. The Vet told us that Nature's Miracle was basically the same thing..........but more expensive.
I would spray that on the spot, let it dry and then sprinkle baking soda over it and let it dry, then vaccum it up.
Not sure if it works on cat pee though

have you tried biological washing powder ? It was a tip I got from the cats protection league. My other Tom cat was a stray when he first moved in with us and he decided to mark all of our sofas with his scent (yikes). I was told to use biological washing powder (the cheaper the better) to clean it with, and it worked.
Anything washable throw in the washing machine with the powder, for the rest either use as a paste or as a solution. Works a treat.

I use Nature's Miracle. It got up a set in stain that my puppy left me one day. I've also used it to clean up poop stains. I highly recommend it.
