A home for the little miss

This has been in the works a while, but finally one of our kittens (six months old) is going to a new home—with my mother-in-law! So I still get to see her (the kitten) frequently. We're taking her up today and staying the night up there to help her adjust. My MIL's been wanting another kitty to take care of; she just had to talk my FIL into it. I just absolutely LOVE this kitten—she's very sweet and cuddly—and will miss her tons, but really it's a relief to pare down the numbers a bit, and my MIL needs the little miss more than I do. Still, I will probably be crying a bit when we leave her up there.

Now I just wish we could find a good home for one more of them ... Then we would only have six cats. Six isn't a lot ... is it?

Yes, Cathy (my MIL) has already fallen in love with her. She stayed overnight here a few weekends ago while Shawn's dad was working out of town, and Little Miss slept with her in the guest room.

Oh, that is great news. I'm so happy that Little Miss gets to keep the person she chose! Congrats!
