Possibly Pregnant

I think that my cat is pregnant. She has the inflated nipples, and she has gotten really fat. It is 10:00 at night here so I can't take her to the vet. Is there any special way to feel her tummy to check? if she isn't I am going to get her spayed pretty soon. If she is, is there any way to tell how far along she is? I am going to get her fixed either way, but my auntie just lost her 5 month old Chantilly kitten and we are going to give her one if she is pregnant. Thanks for any advice!

As far as I know the only way to confirm it is to have an xray done by the vet. Also, if she only a little bit along I don't think you'd be able to "Feel" anything yet.
I hope you do have her spayed if she isn't, you don't want to continue to add to the growing pet poplulation and not enough homes.

I think that she is atleast 5 weeks along.

Perhaps you should take her to the vet to be able to verify if she is or isn't so you can properly care for her ( proper nutrition, etc )
