Recently, when I went down to the pet store I saw dry cat shampoo. It says we don't have to wet the cat just rub the shampoo into the cat's coat and brush it off. I was just wondering if it is as clean as the normal shampoo.
I have never had any luck with it. It makes them smell good for a day or so and then it's back to normal again. The only thing I can say is to try it and see if you like it
Did you ever try the dry shampoo for humans they made in the 70s or 80's? May as well spray your head with cheap air freshener. Bleh. So I've never tried it on a cat.
There is also another new product available from PetSmart which is not really a dry shampoo but has the same purpose. PetWipes are moist towelettes that you rub over your cat's coat daily to remove dirt and ordors. According to the manufacturer, this product won't remove flea treatments.
tried that, it's useless - did not do a good job - baby wipes are more effective, have almost the same ingredience and are cheaper. But would not recommend it if your cat really needs a bath.
