Im back and have lots of WONDERFUL news!!

It has been a while since I have posted and the last post I posted on here was about my moms dog who was stolen from here where I live when they were forced to bring him here when they evacutated hurricane Rita.

Well.... GUESS WHAT?!?!!!!!!

He was found 2 weeks after he went missing!!
A lady called me and said she had seen his picture on the poster I had made of him and placed in Wal-Mart.
She said she didnt even plan on going to Wal-Mart that day and that she also NEVER looks at those "silly" ads on the walls at Wal- Mart. LOL
But that day!!!!.... she did for some reason.

We found him 15 minutes from town. I know someone stole him. I know it in my heart.
I think he ecscaped them and was on his own for atleast 1 week and a half.
He was thin but HAPPY.
We he saw our truck pull in to where he was he ran to us soooo fast. he licked me and licked me until I thought my skin was gone!! LOL

So a wonderful miracle occured this past week. And he has just been reunited with his woof-mommy!!
And there are no words to describe how happy she was!!
She kept telling me that it was like losing one of her kids.
Wanna hear something really nice?? The lady who had found him.... would not take the reward money!!

Here is a pic I took of him just 2 days before he was stolen.
His name is Zu-Zu.



Ohhhh I missed all of you.

I havent been on much b/c I have been so busy.Also b/c I switched from DSL to dial up and its driving me nuts. I just switched back but my DSL isnt going to work until next Thursday.

Also.... my husband David is now in Louisiana starting work on our new restaurant!!!!!!!! YEA!! Finally!!! So wont be long now. We want it opened for Feb 14th.

The first time I was sure miracles really do happen is when my 1st daughter, Laynee, was born.
The second time I was sure was when I was given the chance to be a mommy twice to my 2nd little love named Alleaha.

This incident has to be the 3rd!!
For this woman to not even want the reward money was a shock to me.
When my husband and I were driving home with Zu-Zu I kept telling him that now I now how people feel when they get that last number needed to win the lottery!! Thats how I felt.

Oh and thanks for the welcome. I have been here for 6 years and like it but Louisiana is where I was born and raised and its what I want my girls to know.

I was just up there for the Cardinals last game in that stadium

Oh I am sooooooo excited!!!
Everyone in that town has been knowing for awhile that we are coming so lots of people have seen my husband there working and have been going over there to tell him to hurry b/c they need a good margarita!!

Anyone on this site that lives near New Iberia, La, once we open ya'll come and have a free dinner!!!
And anyone visiting there ya'll are welcome too!

Zuzu always has a little brother in St. Louis his name is Willy He is sooo happy for you all in finding Zuzu ( I still cannot believe It Iam awe struck)

You're in Poplar Bluff? My mum's family came from somewhere around there, family names of Clark and Cummins. We're talking waaaaay back, around 1850's/60's. I remember visiting my great aunts up there when I was about 5 or 6. I'm sure a lot has changed in the meantime!

Alot has changed just in the 6 years that I have been here. This little town is really starting to grow.

ZuZu is truly a lucky doggie!

So glad you are back!! I have been missing you. I'm so happy that you found your mom's dog..I'm sure he's so happy to be home!
