Under the cats, mostly.
OK, so many of you will already have come across this - but it's fair to warn you again anyway. Today I recieved two e-mails from "eBay" telling me that they required a change of password on my account because apparently "there were multiple logins from other computers". The mail provides a quick link to change this password. Now this is obviously rubbish, because I've just closed my eBay account.... and I investigated a little firther and discovered that it not only asks for your full name, card number and expiration date - but blatantly asks for the PIN code for that card!! Speaks for itself really, so beware of these spoof mails people
safe and happy shopping!

Yes for some reason that got sparked up again. I've noticed plenty of those emails in the junk mail lately.
I wouldn't be surprised if the bank information stuff started again.

The Holiday's are comming. I bet that has something to do with it. The one time I got one I noticed right off it was fake because they sent it to the wrong e-mail address that I use for e-bay.

I get those Ebay spoof emails all the time too. Some of them are completely obvious fakes, but others are more sophisticated. I just delete them all. Ebay has a messaging system for your account. If they really need to get in touch with you, you'll have an "alert" message when you sign in.

Watch out for the PayPal spoof emails too. I've been getting those as well.

I had one yesterday saying paypal was letting me know of an instant payment that I had made for some watch for $400. I knew right away it was spoof mail but they are getting desperate. I mean come on.... I know what I bid and win on. So I just forwarded it to paypal and of course it was a spoofmail. Jerks.lol I always just send them on to ebay or paypal.

Ditto for me! I've looked at eBay but never registered.

I got one from amazon saying that someone was trying to purchase something in my name or something like that. I was so scared that I ended up calling Amazon help desk and they told me that it was a hoax. Scared me to DEATH though! Better safe, than sorry.
