Hi everyone
I had a quick question: Are most ginger colored cats male????? I ask because I have posted pics of my Chichi and everyone assumed she was a he because she is ginger colored. So if anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated

I think the ratio is 75 percent of ginger cats are male, and 25 percent are female. It has something to do with genetics, and females born with the same genetics more likely to be tortiseshell than ginger, but I'm not sure.

Not ALL ginger cats are male, just two thirds of them

It depends on the area, though. In Malta, most ginger cats are female. In Germany, about 1/3 are female.
