Claire has a home

It's with me of course! I just can't let her go again or put her through any more trauma. You guys are the first to get the official news, because technically I still need to let my coworker come and see her, but she doesn't have her heart set on Claire, just another cat. So, I'll introduce her to our kittens in foster care and she's bound to fall in love.

Obviously, there are some things to work out, especially taking the introductions slowly. I know it will be hardest on Gracie, but I'll just have to give my little bug a lot of extra attention.

I can't thank all of you enough for your support during the ongoing saga with Claire. I couldn't have made it through without you.

Remember when you had to make a list of reasons why Jessie couldn't stay with you, why she needed another home? Well, I think we now know the reason why although no one knew it then. There was another kitty in your future who would need you more than Jessie.

Congratulations on bringing a new permanent family member into your home. Claire will no doubt have a wonderful life in your family.

You guys made me cry (again!). You're absolutely right, though. I believe everything happens for a reason. I've been feeling a little guilty that I didn't just keep Claire to begin with, but there was also a reason for that. She and her dad needed each other, even if it was just for a short time.

Congratulations to you and Claire! I had a feeling yesterday that I was going to be reading this news today. And, this means a home for at least one other shelter kitty.

It's good news all around. I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this, but was too excited!
