since I can't search... sorry if this is answered somewhere already.
So Teddy is about to finish his course of medication for a URI. However, even though the sneezing has stopped, his nose is definitely still stuffy and it makes funny noises when it gets more clogged. But he's back to his normal self - eating lots, playing, etc. etc, so the medication so far has made him a lot better. However, I've never experienced a URI that stuck around through a course of medication.
So, do cats get persistent, long term URI's? If so, what's the treatment for that? He's already been on Clavamox and another medication I don't have in front of me right now (C---amine), so I didn't know if there was something stronger that vets give if a URI isn't completely clearing up. Teddy will be going back to the vet in a few days, but I'm curious in the meantime.
Thanks!
