RIP little google oogle
Sadly had to make the difficult decision and have the vet assist our friend in finding peace. His thyroid condition had not responded to medication as we hoped, in the last month of his life we were almost to afraid to stroke him or pick him up for fear of hurting him, he was literally nothing but skin and bones. All this week, up until the final time he kept looking at us with that questioning look...why am I still here, I am ready to go now. So we did as he wanted and granted him the peace and dignity he deserved. He went very quickly and painlessly...our house is so quite now without him, but he is reunited with his best friend and companion who passed over 2 years ago...so I know he is happy even though we are mourning his loss

I'm so very sorry. You did the right thing and took notice at what Barney was telling you with his eyes, but he's now safely over the bridge and back to full health again.

He'll be there waiting for you though one day!

RIP Barney

thank you for your kind words. One of our other purr babies has been quite sooky with me tonight and has decided to park himself firmly on my lap and purr away...I think he's trying to comfort me...bless his little paws

I am so sorry for your loss... It is always so hard to say goodbye. I am quite sure that Barney is playing with his companion at the Rainbow Bridge and not feeling any pain any longer.

the hardest decision we will ever have to make is the one to help our love ones cross over to the bridge, but it is the most unselfish act one can do

bless you for allowing him to pass over and find peace in the arms of those that loved him the most... and I have no doubt that his best friend was there waiting for him.

RIP sweetheart, you were such a brave little one - you will be deeply missed
