Cat Hair Magnet

I noticed this in the store & have been considering getting it for the cats to enjoy. Have any of you bought one of these? Did your cats like it?

I've seen them but haven't tried. I'm just not sure my brood would use it. If you get it, let me know how it works out!

Mine used it all the time for a while and now use it occasionally but tend to ignore it most of the time. I got a different version which had little plastic bits and they love that as they can scratch their chins on it

it does look like a neat idea. i looked at them once, but was afraid the bristles would hurt clinton
. i'm a sap, i know.

i guess i would just hate to get one and have him not like it, they're kind of expensive! and clinton has come to know me as his personal chin scratcher, ear rubber, and on demand grooming device!

I got mine at Walmart. My cats used it as kittens, but don't really use it that much anymore. They prefer to use the base to sharpen there claws and don't really use the brush part.

I've seen this several times when at Wal-Mart and I've always been curious about it. I've been tempted to get it but I don't know if my kitties would like it. So maybe in the future I'll try it just to see.

I bet most cats would like them...and they certainly should collect hair...I`m just wondering how easy they would be to clean. Do they give you instructions for that???

Hmmm...where did you get the different version with the chin-scratchers? It sounds nice! Do you have a picture?

I had one but ended up giving it away. My cats ignored it. I think the bristles were too sharp for them.

They much prefer their two Turbo Scratcher discs with the little ball in the track that goes around the scratch surface. LOL

Just wanted to post an update - I went ahead & got this for my babies in early December as an early Christmas present.

At first they all went crazy over it, and fought over it. Then, after ignoring it for a few days, they began using it on a regular basis as a chin & face scratcher, and occasionally to walk through & pet themselves. They definitely seem to still enjoy it for that, so I'm keeping it out where they can use it - I love seeing them get a blissful look on their faces while they scratch their chins on it.

Linda, the cleaning instructions just say to vacuum it clean. I haven't had to clean it yet, but it looks like vacuuming would be all it needs, though you could pop out the bristled hoop from the carpet base & wash it if you want to - it comes out fairly easily.
