Lucky doesn't look as big as Frosty. Is she actually a smaller horse, or is it because the light is kind of bright so it fades out the depth? Or maybe the baby is smaller?
I know I've asked before, but explain the bit about wax again. I can't even remember what body part. Also, the last time I looked her tail was free. Didn't they bind up the other mare's tail?
This is just the seepage of pre-birth milk within the mare's udders. It isn't that reliable to predicting live birth as unlike when our water breaks and birth is imminent, a mare can wax up to 4 weeks prior to delivery. About the tail, it is strictly the owner's choice, some will bag the tail to keep it out of the way, while others will braid it up. But out in the wild, mares give birth all the time with no assistance from us, so like I said, it is strictly the owner's choice.
