my cat is blind in one eye. when she is done in her litter box she only scraps her paws on the top rim of the litter box but never on the actual litter. is there a way to train her to cover up her stuff by scrapping the litter?

Has she always done that or is it a recent development?
My Skinny does it only when she knows someone is around, cat or human. Like she's protesting her privacy has been invaded

Alfie does this to, but usually only when I'm asleep. I think it's his sneaky way of trying to make me wake up and feed him

she has always done this. the only time it bothers me is when i'm drifting asleep and it wakes me. the other cat looks at her like "what are you doing".

Mine do it too, sometimes. I think that they just like the sound, which is quite a lot like fingernails on a chalkboard. Lovely dearies.
