Hi, most of the time when i go to pet my kitty, she turns and trys to get my hand and then goes into this baby position on her back or side with all her paws trying to get my fingers and bites lightly on them. i try to say no but she doesnt get the hint. i'm wondering how to break her of the habit... any ideas? she's over a year... not a kitten.

All of my babies (7) do this to me...even my older ones. It is love
The little nibble is a sign of affection especially when they roll onto their back or side...definitely not showing aggression.

If you really dislike the nibble, don't poke your fingers near her mouth and/or a little citrus handcreme should turn her with the taste & smell.

You can break them of the nibble habbit if you wish to...but if not...not

Personally, I think it is cute when they nibble & lick my fingers. As long as it is not a full-fledged bite...I don't have a problem with these little nibbles of affection.
