Yeah, we've been to the vet...

what began as 'flea allergy dermatitis' with a long story and now, no fleas, has become this weird condition where my cat leaves sesames seeds everywhere. It's really odd.

Anyone know what this might be?

Seasame seeds usually point to just one thing. It is dried tapeworms. I would have your vet do a fecal and get it treated right away. I would bet your cat picked it up when you had fleas. They are contracted only from eating infected fleas or rodents.

Ewwwww! Can I get tapeworms from her? Oh gross. But they're coming off her skin on blankets she lies on like dandruff. Ewww, it's really tapeworms?

Honest, it's not coming from her skin. You will find them where they sleep because little segments of the tapeworm come out, fall off and dry up. You find them there because they are there for longer periods of time. You can't get tapeworm unless you eat an infected flea or rodent. It has to have a host to be passed on. However, there's no over the counter medication for this, so it will require a trip to the vet.

Ok, yuck. I am so glad I asked. I just thought it was funky dandruff. That is so nasty, and where's just not gonna talk about this anymore. Going to the vet and get this nasty little problem solved. Thanks for telling me, but again, EWWWWW!
