I live in a trailer park and have been caring for four ferals for about 10 months now. I've had them all TNR'ed, and they're all finally trusting enough to let me pet them. The bad news is that I just found out that the trailer park where I live HAS BEEN SOLD TO A DEVELOPER. What happens to my beloved ferals? I'm beside myself, and more worried about where they will go than where my husband and I will live. Any suggestions?? I am SO upset! Thanks!

Good luck, I feed ferals and I know that must be your worst nightmare. After all the work you have put into these kitties. I wish I could help. Prayers for you and all your furry children.

I have considered this myself, as I have barn cats (friendly) and about 4 ferals who I feed but rarely or never see. If I decide to move, I think I will try to trap the ferals and bring them with me. I just don't know of any other way to keep them safe.

They might not like life as inside cats in the city instead of ferals in the country, but I would try to get them a quiet room where they could hide, and hopefully they would adjust over time.

Best of luck to you and the kits!

Is there any way that you could contact the developer? They might allow the cats to stay, although I should think that the construction will run them off. Ideally, I pray that you & your husband find a nice rural/suburban place to live with, where you can take your kitties with you, if they can be trapped again. Bless you for doing so much for these cats!!
