For the last three days i noticed blood in my kittys stools, his regular vet is off for two days but i took in a stool sample yesterday and they called me, the fecal test came back negative for parasites, i told the them i was most concern because of the blood and the technician or whoever tested the sample said there was no blood or maybe he only checked for parasites, which i know for sure the stool had some blood, anyway, his vet is coming back tomorrow and i can talk to her, whatelse you think is causing the bloody stool, and what type of test you think the vet should do?. He's acting perfectly healthy otherwise and the his poop is very normal, thanks

Gosh I would`nt know. If he was a person, and the blood was`nt in the stool sample you took in, then I`d think maybe hemeroids.....but i`m not even sure if cats can get them, although it would sure seem possible to me.
With people if there is blood coming from the bowels it often does`nt look like blood at all, but appears black. Usually if it is red blood it is coming from the rectum area rather than from up inside.....but i`m not sure about cats.
I hope you find the cause soon and that it turns out to NOT be serious.

Just because it tested negative for parasites does not mean it is negative. Coccidia can evade tests like those, and test negative for days and then positive on one day and negative again. It is not always shed in the feces. I would have the vet check the feces at least on 3 different days if it doesn't clear up. It could have just been something the cat ate though.... are there any other symptoms? Is the cat eating and drinking normally? Lethargic or normally active etc?

I will collect another fecal test done tomorrow, and as far his behavior, he's acting perfectly fine, eating, drinking, playing, hopefully it's nothing serious.
