Arizona doesn't observe that ridiculous anachronism. It DOES affect my job, though, as we take calls from all over the US and corporate offices are mostly back east.

Oh, thanks for the reminder! I have enough clocks that automatically do it that I would have remembered tomorrow morning. But this way I can set at least the bedroom clocks so it's right in the morning.

I like the Fall Back time change, I just wish they would change it to AFTER Halloween since the kiddies can't Trick or Treat after dark anymore like we did when I was a kid. Most of the Trick or Treaters get hosed because so many people are still working when it gets dark after the time change.

I'm doing a 12 hour night shift tonight, getting off at 8am. I will actually be leaving at 7am, though, putting the time change into action. This really works to my advantage because I have to be back in at 8pm Sunday night. Instead of the usual 12 hour turn around, I'll have 13 hours!

HA HA! I did that once (showed up an hour early for church!).
But I used the time to just continue practicing/playing my guitar.

I'm so glad I clicked on this thread! I knew last week that we were "falling back" an hour this Sunday, but somehow I forgot about it until I just saw this discussion. And thank God I saw this! Whew!

I didn't get to sleep an hour longer, since Jamie got me up a 5:30 for his breakfast, and I couldn't get back to sleep. Oh, well.
I hadn't thought about those "Down Under" going on DST while those in the northern hemisphere were going back to Standard Time.

We lose an hour here in southern Indiana.
I hate it!!
It gets dark at 5 pm!!

If you have the typical 8-5 job, (which I dont) you barely see the sun at all.

I set the clocks back however since I overdid it with yard work yesterday as I didn't do anything Friday due to my massive headache I really didn't slept all that well.
But on the good side we did eat breakfast out at Perkins this morning and then drove around car lots "window shopping""!!

YAY!!! I got to sleep an hour longer and still not feel guilty that I lost an hour's research on my dissertation. Perfect

The kitties were perfectly behaved, they kept snoozing until we got out of bed to fill the food dishes

I would have slept an hour longer but Reilly is still running on his old schedule.
