This fountain was purchased because it was not plastic and saw it on a site on constipation for cats and was promoted as one that cats would use. However, it is expensive. It is very heavy,...

Well i bought this after reading about this in the forum here, because i recently moved with my cat from my home country to europe. My home country being Brazil, my cat has short hair and is...

I had to use a dropper with this since it was kind of hard to put it in my cat's ears. I cleaned my cats ears first, then I put the R-7M cleaner in her ears. Next, I inserted 10 drops into each...

It is the most economical litter I have ever used. I only put a layer of litter in the pan that will cover half the pan. As the cats use it, it turns to sawdust. When its all dust you dump it....

This is probably the single most important toy I ever bought. I got it when my boy was a kitten and two years later, he still plays with it every day.

Sorry ...I`m not going to be any help to you, as my litter box is inside a closet in the bath/laundry room. (Hole cut in it for kitty entrance)...but i`m sure someone will be along here soon that has some experience that will help you make your decision.

I've never used them, reason being I heard there have been several that started fires. May not be true, but be careful!

Hi Dumac,
Here's a link with quite a few reviews on all the various litterboxes out there.

I myself use the Omega Paw and this thing is positively BRILLIANT! I love it and highly recommend it, but ONLY recommend the large size...the regular size is just too small IMHO.

pesonally, for us, i think the automatic was a waste of money. miss mabel tends to go in one corner of the box. so she ended up p'ing on the rake of the littermaid...every time. the rake was wet when it went through the litter to scoop. so i was forever scraping gunk off the rake and out of the tracks. plus, because she went in one corner all the time, when the rake would start, it would push a pile of poo AND a path of clean litter about 3 inches wide out of the pan and into the receptacle. made me crazy. it was a once a week chore...take the thing outside...empty it out...take it apart...scrub it down...get a toothbrush to clean the tracks and grooves that never seemed to get clean. the thing always looked dirty because of her corner p'ing. if you have a normal kittie that manages to hit the bulls-eye and not a corner, it might be worth a try!
i switched to an extra large pan, with a liner, and i'm much happier. miss mabel couldn't care less, but i'm much happier!
oh! and when i switched to WBCL, life was that much better!

I heard that they had to recall them when they first came out...and they had to redesign the purrforma. The sensors of the purrform are in the front and back of the box...so if your cat goes in the middle, it wont set up the rake. but like the other post said you can go to the litterbox central forum and there are some really good posts about it....i personally have the littermaid and everything works fine...
