Building a No Kill Los Angeles

Come hear Nathan Winograd, the only shelter Director in the country who has achieved a No Kill community, share his insights on how Los Angeles can achieve that goal! Learn what has worked in other communities, what has not worked, what programs and services help save lives and how to implement those needed changes in Los Angeles. Ending the killing of shelter animals takes a community, and the community starts with you! Join us for a three hour presentation on Building a No Kill Community. Free and open to the public.

November 5, 2005 (6 pm to 9:30 pm)

Holiday Inn Beverly Garland

4222 Vineland Avenue

North Hollywood, CA 91602

Free and open to the public

The seminar is free. Parking is $5 if you park in the Beverly Garland lot, but there is free street parking available.

I'd be really interested in hearing what he has to say on this, Los Angeles is such a mess in this area (and a few others). Thanks Katie!

As much as I admire him, I think it will take more than one seminar to change some of the attitudes around here. But I still think one seminar is a great start - and far better than nothing!
