Song for your cats

This is a game I thought of after singing to my kitty

It's simple..just take a song like twinkle twinkle little star..change the words keep the rhythm..and make a song for your cat.

Here's two I've done..

Rhythm- Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Joey, Joey, Joey kitty
How you are so very pretty
You're black as night
with yellow eyes so bright
How I love my Joey kitty.

Rhythm - You are my sunshine

I love my kitty
my joey kitty
He's my baby
my baby boy
He's so pretty
with yellow eyes and
fur as black as the dark night sky.

Now it's your turn

OK, I love that I'm not the only one who sings to my cats!!!

Before my Smokey died I used to sing the first part of You are my sunshine to her. Now I sing the second verse as well:

The other night dear as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
But when I woke dear I was mistaken
And I hung my head a cried.

For my Maggie:

Magie, Magie give me your answer true
I'm half crazy over the love of you
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carrage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.

For Jordan (I made this one up):

Bug-a-roo, Bug-a-roo,
Whatcha go'na do Bug-a-roo.

I sing the same song to Isaac, but instead of Bug-a-roo, I sing eyes-a-roo
The funny thing is I don't sing anything specific to Levi, but I do have a song I sing to all of them when it's time for weekly claw clipping.

It's claw clippin, claw clippin, claw clipping time. (sung with a souther accent)

I'm in an appartment & I'm sure my neighbors think I'm crazy.

Oh I thought of anohter one last night (OK I was singing it to Jordan & realized what I was doing)

Oh & incase you didn't notice I rarely call my cats by the names I gave them.

Excellent kittysongs! I have a few of those, too, but the tunes are original, so you'll have to imagine the music...

When I first brought my baby Clyde home from the shelter, it was a long drive, and he was crying terribly... so I just started singing to him, and these lyrics happened. The tune is like a little vaudeville sort of melody, with a swaying rhythm:

So that was the first one. Then one night, an alarm went off and Clydie hid under a bed, so I started singing to reassure him that everything was normal. This time, it turned out to be a bouncy, upbeat number with bluesy chords, with my imaginary horn section singing backup in the chorus:

I finally thought of one I sing to Levi, I'm not the worlds best at rhiming, but this is to the tune of the Jum-Bone comercial:

The big boy doesn't want to eat a small meal
