Hi all, just thought I'd share an improvement story and spread a little hope around!
Mitts was never a lap cat, nor was he particularly friendly. He loved us in his own way
but wasn't receptive to receiving love. When we got him fixed (at 6 months) I thought he would calm down. He didn't. He continuted to scratch, bite, and be a general pain in the butt!
That was 6 weeks ago. This week, he has voluntarily climbed on my lap for a nap every single day. He is sleeping at my feet every night, without playing or biting. He must have a part of his body touching mine or hubby's, preferably his face on my feet! This morning he jumped on hubby's belly as soon as hubby was awake and wanted to touch his face.
It's just so cute as I have been patient all this time and it seems to have paid off!
