flea bites? skin cancer? i dont know

so i noticed i cant find the term for 'search' to search in the forum so im irritated (or am i blind? normally i can find the search. maybe i'll keep looking) i was wondering, what flea bites look like?? or if they can be explained. i've had this very small bump mark on my abdomen, its not bright red. but not the color of my skin persay (sp) its been there for over 2 days now, and i jut felt two on my side/back. i gave my cat flea meds on the 17th. so i dont know if he'd still have fleas?? he sleeps in my bed. im going to search my body to see if there are any more..being young im jumping to a haste (hoping) its not skin cancer. i dont know what kind of dots to look for/marks. if they sound like flea bites. let me know. im going home tom. so i'll show my mom j.i.c (just in case). any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

yea i ended up seeing that after i posted! lol i just wasnt sure if it was me i was hoping i wasnt losing my mind, lol.

I doubt it`s caner if it just appeared suddenly a few days ago and now you have more spots.
Do they itch? If so then they may be flea bites and will go away in a few days.
If they were spider bites the`d more likely be located near each other...sort of in a row. (Like they bite...take a few steps and bite again)
If you determine that they are flea bits...and you continue getting more of them...then I`d check with the vet again about flea medication....to make sure it is doing it`s job.

yea i think they were just some sort of bug bite..but they were like..small poofy things, not like a red dot....thank you!!

Are spider bites itchy? I get a numerous about of bited everynow and then.. and think one flea is going bite crazy.. but I know thats its sand fleas biting my ankles everytime I go outside.. thank god for the frost!

This is rather funny.

Different types of bugs leave different types of bite marks. Most spider bites will be double punctures and the tissue around the bite may turn purple or black.

Do you have chiggers, where you live? They will leave itchy, burning red spots.
