Went grocery shopping earlier. As I was getting ready to go through the doors, a black and white kitty scooted in front of me crying and went and hid under the carts. After several unsuccessful attempts to get this baby out from under the shopping carts- with help I ran over to the catfood aisle for a bribe. By the time I got back, the kitten was caught and joined by another one a sweet patterned gray tabby. Needless to say both kittens are upstairs. They are about 6 weeks old and full of worms. They go to the vets in the morning for a checkup- they are not full feral, and are right now snuggled up with snugglekitty on the heated cat bed.

I know that feeling, though not for the same reason. I would say a bit of proof of angels on earth, brushing them towards you.

MA, these felines tell each other by ESP where they should be or go to find you so they will be well cared for.

You are so very awesome. You are my hero, truly.

Wow. I'm glad you shared that. Sometimes, when you wonder whether there is a plan, someone comes along and reaffirms that there is one!

You rock! I'm so glad these babies found you. You have SUCH a big heart. When I still lived in Louisiana stuff like that seemed to happen to me every week. It got so intense I had to work out a special deal with the vet school so I could afford all the vet visits. I was just overrun with kitties but as you know it's well worth it.

I hope the vet says that besides the worms these kittens are in excellent health. Pictures soon? *hint-hint*

Not till after the upgrade. They are quite sick at the moment so they go to the vets first thing in the a.m. URI for sure, hoping that is all it is.

I never say no to rescue them initially. I do say no to keeping all I rescue.

Oh MA, I hope they don't have FIP, they are so sweet. Sending prayers and vibes your way.

And yes, it's surreal but fate tells them where you'll be and how to best get your attention.

MA, I hope you don't mind that I've posted the picture. I think TCS accepts pictures that are uploaded on another server during the upgrade.

Here are the two sweet babies

They had worms, earmites, fleas and lice, but other than that they are healthy. We didn't flea treat them they are to young, but they were wormed and there is a new mite medicine out that is a one-time application only! Yay! They have been blowing chunks out of their ears ever since they got treated. Ben said it was one of the worse cases of ear mites he has seen all year.

They are home now, and need to be named. Probably after food, or brand names of food since I got them in the grocery store. There is one boy and one girl. The boy is extremely feral, the little girl is much more mellower.
