My babies are Growing Up

At the end of this month all three of my nearly six month old kittie will be getting spayed I can't believe time has gone by so quickly! Seems like yesterday that they were tiny little balls of fluff!! Does anyone out there have experience on dealing with more than one kitty being fixed on the same day? I'm just wondering how hard it will be to look after all three of them. I'm thinking about turning my bedroom into a 'Kitty Infirmary' for a few days..

Oh wow! Nope, never been there! Let us know how it goes. Are they still really active kittens? My kitty was neutered at about 8 weeks, and he was so hyper...the paper said to keep him quite when we got home. Yeah right!! A

I had both of mine babies spayed at the same time and they had to spend one night at the vet. When I brought them home, I had to check Sadie to make sure they spayed her, for she was jumping everywhere. So Sadie had no problems; however Soltie just slept and when she continue sleeping the next day I call the vet and she had me force fluid so that Soltie could get the anesthetic out of her system, by afternoon she was fine. By 72 hours after their surgrey I could tell much any differnce then before they had it done. Tried to keep them from jumping and as calm as possible, but sometimes it wasn't possible; and gave them a lot of extra TLC which continues to this day. Hope your babies do well. Keep us informed.

Thanks for the advice I'm planning to keep the girls in my room snuggled on my bed so the boys won't try to play with them or bother them too much. They just seem so little!! That may be because one of the boys- Onyx- weighs over 16 lbs! I'll let everyone know how they make out- but the surgery isn't until the 22nd so it will be a while.
