Try Fresh Results - HEB stores carry it, and it's also available at Wal-Mart. The clumps aren't rock-like, but they are pretty firm, and it doesn't stick any more than clumping clay does (and what does stick is easier to wipe off than clay). It's soft and fine, eco-friendly and flushable too.

The smell is pleasant, the ingredients are all natural, and it clumps well. Best of all, there is no dust!
Wonderful! There's a Sun Harvest (aka Wild Oats) not too far from here, so now I'll have another source for this great litter. Thanks!

i was using Arm & Hammer, but i've started using Tidy Cats for small spaces - i really like it - the granules are larger & don't track as easily, but it still clumps well & controls odor well.

We use Simplicity Plus cluming for our boys. It clumbs well, and has a good odor control. Its about $8 for a 44 lb box. I like this litter, but I might change if I can find something with stronger odor contro, and less dust.

I use Heartland Wheat Litter. I call the factory where it is made and order it. The litter is then delivered to my apartment.

I use Scoop Away. It controls the odor very well. I have to keep my litterbox in the kitchen. Now, if I could only figure out a way to prevent her from kicking the litter out of the box.

I just discovered Swheat Scoop...and I LOVE IT! It smells like bread or wheat...it absorbs great and it can be flushed or composted. I put it into one of the litter boxes and since then my cats refuse to use the one with the regular litter!

Another option for this type is nature's miracle. We mix it with Worlds best to get the odor control and clumping power we like.

I used to use Wal-Mart's Special Kitty clumping litter, until I was given some Tidy Cat multiple cat. I found that the Tidy Cat didn't stick to the tails of my long haired cats like the clumping litter did. And the cats didn't complain about the change, which suprised me.

I tried this and I really like it so far. Only Opal is using it right now, but I love the texture, and the clumps are pretty firm. Thanks.

I use Everclean, extra strength unscented....it's dusty...but I'm afraid to switch, I've been using it for years! I'm afraid of the reprocussions!

after going thru different ones, i find the Fresh Step Scoopable cat litter to be best. it holds down the odor very well for me and scooping is simple.

I use Nature's Miracle too... with three cats and the flushable-ness of it, it works great. It pretty much covers up the smell (when they remember to cover their mess) and the litter box gets completely changed out every week.

My cats were switched straight over from clay, and now Toulouse doesn't even remember what clay litter is. He refuses to use it.

I used to use this one & I also tried Natures Best, one problem the cats would rip open the bag & eat the litter.
I'm also in a small aprtment & odor control is a huge issue for me. I feel that the one I'm using know (Cat Attract) has slightly better odor control.

I LOVE Swheat Scoop- it is the expensive stuff- but I too have to put up with the smell right next to my toilet- and my bathroom is in my room... so I am NOT going to deal with the smelly cheapo stuff....

Swheat Scoop is about 8 bucks around here- is made from wheat- and is completely biodegradable and perfect. I never smell anything unless she just went #2- and then I just pull out the scooper and plop it in the toilet. It is perfect!!!!

Funny story to go with it- i wouldnt let my litter box get dirty- but apparently Oreo knows when exactly one week has passed... she wouldnt go at all in the freshly scooped out litter box, and it had only been a week since I put her with it. BUT- at 2 am last night she wouldnt go and screamed at me until I changed it... as soon as I did she raced in and went... weirdo kitty- it wasnt THAT dirty- I didnt smell ANYTHING, and I got close!!!

I was afraid to try the wheat type litters for some reason, but am really glad I did.. I used a different brand at first, tho I can't remember the name now. I changed for no particular reason, I just happened to shop at a different store the second time I bought the litter. I LOVE this stuff..! I've had cats for years and years and have never been so satisfied. I can leave the scooping for several days and after I clean it, absolutely no odor is left.. Lurve! Bread-y smell seems odd, but isn't bad at all. Virtually no dust. And I feel better about using a more natural product? I don't know. I love not having to be so concerned about the smell in my small-ish apartment when people come over. People only know I have a cat when she comes be-bopping into the room.

Glad it's working for you!

I hope Cupid takes to it also. It's the first natural litter I've found that my choosy kitty Felixia will use - until now I've always had to keep a separate little box for her with clumping clay, but she likes the Fresh Results litter just fine.

Thanks for telling me about Nature's Miracle, Turtlecat!
It's good to know I have some backup options if the grocery store runs out or stops carrying the Fresh Results.

What exactly is the definition of "premium" cat litter?

I don't want to use this littermaid box with the wrong stuff.
