Hi I'm new here and I thought I would start off getting to know everyone by asking for some help naming my new kitty I found yesterday. The poor little man was under our wood shed and crying his little heart out. We trapped him quite easily and brought him indoors. His eyes had a lot of puss on them so I used some warm compresses on his eyes to give him some relief. We went to the vet this morning. She feels he is between 6 - 8 weeks old, gave him some eye drops which I have to administer twice a day for a couple of weeks. In a couple of weeks we will go back to the vet for a recheck and at that point she will give him his first needle. She wants me to keep him quarantined from my older cat for the two weeks to ensure that he isn't more ill than we see at this point.
Anyway, the little fella is quite sweet, very small and needs a name! The vet feels he was probably dumped since he is quite friendly. He is all black and the receptionist made a comment about how ironic it was that I found a black cat right around Halloween. I thought that a name having to do with Halloween might be appropriate but I also like the name Coal since he is all black.
Any ideas for names would be appreciated.
