my cat is paralyzed for about 2 months now i posted a thread on here before and many TCS members really helped me out

she is starting to feel her legs
but
they hurt or at least one does she wont let me touch her anymore (unless i give her a nice skratch in the neck
) but she keeps her leg very tucked in and when i try to gently strech it out she meauws and gets anoyed with me. she eather resist streching it or it's just stuk I think it's just a knee dislocation but i'm not sure.
does anyone no what it is and how to deal with it???

What does your vet say is wrong? If you haven't taken this cat to the vet yet, then please do ASAP.

i went to the vet on saturday morning. it turned out that her knee was growing stiff because she hadened used it for so long...
the vet told me to do more physical therapy and masage her, he didn't think that she was going to improve anymore than she already did... but i disagree with him i've heard many stories of paralyzed pets who starded to walk years after they got paralyzed!

I had a shoulder that froze up and I kept giving in to it. Finally I had to do physical therapy exercises. It was painful, but it broke the should loose. Is that what your vet is talking about for the cat when you say do physical therapy. If it is painful to her that might be hard to do with a cat. I wish you the best.
