the land of nowhere. deal with it.
Where glasses? Oo'' why I made this is a mystery to myself. I'm just woundering. I got my glasses to day and, suprise to my mom, I'm a negadive two neersighed or what ever you call it. I also learned something from when I got ym eye's tested a fue days ago: at first, I thought there was nothing more boring then ubserving a cat, but there is: getting your eye's tested -_-. Oo my eye docter has the slowest voice. Ever seen the comrtial withthat guy with the slow, bording voice for that red eye stuff or what ever? yea. that's how he sounds. But now I'm jabbering on and on again and need to get to the point and on topic: anyone out there where glasses? :p

I'm nearsighted, so I can't see anything really well from about 2-3 feet from my face.. and of course the farther the object is away, the harder it is to see it.

Let's put it this way: I am so near sighted I am legally blind without eyeglasses. Minus 6.75 vision. Hell, my drivers license is issued on the sole legal condition I wear them at all times while driving.

No I don't - but I thinking for some time that I should get my eyes tested, after a few hours in front of the PC, things tend to get a bit blurry.

I only wear glasses when I read to help reduce the stress on my eyes.

Yes I wear glasses. But I most of the times wear contact lens. Only at home is when I wear my glasses. My girlfriend loves my eyes so she rather would have me wear contacts.
I am far sighted and can't see very good at all without my glasses or contacts.

My eyesight used to be perfect when I was younger, but not only is my reading sight worsening as I age, so is my distance. So in th past couple of years, I've progressed from reading glasses to vari focals.

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses or contacts. I have been since I was about 11.

Blind as a bat here too without them. -8.00 here. I started wearing them at 18 months old!

Don't you hate it when you can't see to find your glasses because you haven't got your glasses on?

Thankfully, no. Which is weird, because my parents and all 4 grandparents have had glasses since they were young. My siblings and I all have better than perfect vision, which continues to sustain me in early adulthood. Weird, huh?

I've had glasses since I was 3... I really can't say anything about them besides how much I love featherlights. Lens thickness has so drastically reduced in the 18 years that I've had glasses.

I'm legally blind without them (although since I'm far sighted, it's not like I'm dangerous behind the wheel). I actually went without them for maybe 8 years, because the eye exam I had right before I got my license when I was 16 was so much better than it ever had been, but the eye exam the week before I turned 21 (I thought that with my vision history, it would be a good idea to go to the opthamologist before I showed up at the DMV) showed that all of that wonderful improvement in my vision was temporary.

I don't wear contacts because it's just too much of a hassle for me. With my prescription and astigmatism, there are only two manufacturers who even make contacts for me. One of them causes this sort of ghosting effect, where there are patches of foggy light at the edge of my vision (seriously obnoxious), and the other kind dry my eyes out really badly. I have some seriously stylin' glasses, though, so I'm cool with it. I'd probably go for contacts if my lenses weren't thin enough to fit into metal frames, though. I used to have plastic frames, because my lenses looked so rediculous in metal, but my nose is crooked, so they looked really dumb.
