Guzzler is doing well. He seems to be figuring out the litter pan. He is getting out (still just in my daughter's room) for little supervised walks. He is eating a little food on his own.
The best birthdate we can come up with is maybe October first.
His eyes appear to be turning a light blue (crossing fingers). He looks like a little white tiger. Vet said he should not have to see him again for 3-4 weeks when it is time for shots.
CoalYard did not fair so well. The end of his story is posted on crossing the bridge.

Is it not amazing what we humans miss when the mom cat tends to her own babies?
I am having my daughter put a 20 ounce bottle of hot tap water in with Guzzler now that he is alone in his box; Not filling it full and mashing the air out so it is not round and won't roll. That way poor kid has something warm to snuggle.

Its so beautiful as they grow up before your eyes! And that look they give you of unconditional love because they know you are their Mummy!!

You can also get a sock, 3/4 fill it with uncooked rice, tie a knot in the top to keep the rice in and put it in the microwave for about a minute. Make sure it's not too hot and put that just under his bedding to keep him warm.

And RIP sweet CoalYard.

Guzzler got a brief supervised introduction to our dog today. Any animosity between the critters at our house is more on the part of the cats than poor Delila. Guzzler bowed up and hissed at her!!
This was so funny to see as he is still such a tiny thing.

This little fella knows to use his litter box
already. Last night he climbed up in the bed with his meowmy. The pillow he is on in the one picture is where he has been sleeping. One night in the box without CoalYard and there was no keeping Houdini in.

Our best rough guess is about 4 weeks maybe. He did not have teeth yet when we found him on the 15th. On the 19th he weighed a whopping 13 ounces.
You baby is a doll!! A solid white cat is rare here anymore.

Thank you!!

Guzzler looks sooo much bigger than my girl and she is at 6 weeks!!!

They are so precious though! Love every minute of it! Its an experience that not everyone gets!!

Do you have troubles with him getting food all over his face and it being hard to get off?? My little white girl has a very brown muzzle!!!

Yes, it does seem eating for them is a whole face experience. Part of the stuff on him is from where we found him. It was a few days and many baby wipes before we knew he had stripes.

Hard to believe we have had Guzzler 3 weeks today. He follows his meowmy through the house like he owns the place. He is roughly 5 and a half weeks old now. Eating both can and dry food, drinking water and formula from a bowl. He still gets 2 bottles a day; Monday we will back off to one. I could not have found a cuter, sweeter fellow if I had been looking for another kitty!
