My Australian friend heard this morning that her cat, Hilary, passed this morning. She had been living at my friend's mother's house outside Alice SPrings, and was around 18 years old, so had a good life. She died in her grandmeomy's lap after several months of treatment for liver and urinary problems. She will be buried next to her canine companion Wooky, who passed last year - in life they were inseparable.
