I think that just makes things more confusing

Some cats eat 1 can of wet food, some free feed from dry food, some do both. Buddy is 6 1/2 month old and I personally give a total of 6oz of wet food per day divided in to 2 meals, and a 1/4cup-1/2 cup dry per day of dry, per my vets instructions. Cats don't drink too much if you feed wet food mostly since they get most of their fluids from it. If you feed mostly dry then you should see your cat drink more, how much, I don't know to be honest. Just leave a fresh bowl of water every day since cats prefer fresh water.
I used to only feed wet food 3 times per day, but he doesn't ever seem full, so now I just give wet 2 times and a little dry, since the dry is a little more filling.

I once was told one ounce per lb per day for wet food ... It would be twice this for a kitten ... hope this helps a little

I have been told the same as Sharky. But since we free feed dry here I just keep a close eye on everyone and make sure they are eating, and drinking. I have three water's that each hold about 1/4 gallon and i fill them up about twice a week.

My 2 cats are eating almost all dry food with a can once a day that neither of them eat very much of ...but they drink about 16-18 oz of water between them everyday. Is this enough moisture???
I did`nt understand that sight that was given near the firsat of this thread....i`m old and don`t understand those measurements....only know pounds and ounces.

I'm just wondering if you know how much they're drinking or how much is evaporation. I think it's pretty hard to tell.

If she hasn't been eating or drinking since Sunday and this is Thursday, she is already in very serious trouble. Her liver functions may have already shut down. She should have been seen by a vet within 24-48 hours of not eating or drinking.

She should be taken to an emergency facility immediately.
