Can someone please help me out here?
I posted an image at photobucket.com, it is in the correct format and everything.
I copy and pasted this:

into my sig and the picture is not showing up. Am I doing something wrong? Should there be spaces between and [url]?
I am confused...
Thanks.

There doesnt need to be spaces between IMG and the url......it seems like the url has errors....

I would rename it and reload it back on photobucket then try again.....

good luck

This is what it is that I copied and pasted I don't know why the ... came out, maybe it was too long and it shortened it.

I will try to do it again. Thanks.

No, that's just an ellipsis in the statement of the URL -- you often see that where a URL is given within text, and it doesn't affect how the URL works.

I'd suggest going back to your photobucket account, and picking up the third set of code under the image -- the one that has the tags already attached -- and use that to paste into your sig block. That way, you don't need to worry about the code at all -- photobucket has done it for you -- and it's a simple copy-and-paste job.

Good Luck! Looking forward to seeing your sig!

I went to photobucket and it turns out that the picture isn't showing up there now either...Could the picture maybe be too big? I reduced it a lot, and it is in the right format, I am a graphic designer not a web designer, I feel like I should know the basics of how to post a photo on the internet...but turns out i don't I will relink the original photo at photobucket and see what happens. Have to do this tonite though because I am at work now.
Thanks.

Photobucket will resize it automatically if its too big......just try and rename the pic and submit it to photobucket again

Jen, I just followed your link. Neat collage of photos. As it stands, it will be too big for your sig, both in file size and in height -- it needs to be no more than 30Kb and no more than 150 pixels high. So you might want to work on that while you're sorting out the linking problem.

Well, that's bizarre! I just clicked the link again, and it's still good for me -- a neat collage of pics...

I might can help with this. You say you reduced it quite a lot ... Are you using Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop? I was having problems with graphics "disappearing" and not showing up with PSP, and it SEEMS to be (I never really verified) a problem with one or some of the compression logarithms when you're optimizing a .jpg with the chroma subsampling. Try changing the parameters and see if this fixes the problem. Just something to try.

I'm not a noob but where do I find the area to place the URL to my sig or upload it?

In the User Control Panel [leftmost on the bar right under the CatSite banner], the first item in Settings & Options is "Edit Signature". You'll probably need to wait until the server upgrade is complete and all features are re-activated, though.

I've looked through all the options and see nothing that refers to a signature. I am a forum admin myself elsewhere so again nit a noob

My Options panel looks like this. Maybe the upgrade?

For the first 24 hours and 5 posts, you do not have signature options.
