I'm an eBayaholic!!!
Well, I don't bid on everything I like, but if it's something quality and affordable enough I'll go for it!

The more extravagant items I've won are a Gucci handbag, a 1ctw Diamond w/white gold ring, and most recently a Movado stainless steel watch. Each item was under $200, and the retail cost of each of those items would be at least four times the amount! A total score!!!

I LOVE EBAY!!!

Tell me your eBay stories!

I go to eBay for mostly unusual stuff that I can't seem to find anywhere else. Forget finding bargains anymore on eBay
, although it does happen if you luck up.Hmmm, what are the latest things I've gotten? Ah, a Christmas tree ornament, a headset for my landline phone, a pair of antique replica shelf brackets, a really neat Greenman plaque, and on ... and on
.

If it's not on eBay ... it's not to be found!

Coolness!
I'll definitely check out the glitter balls!

I've looked at cat trees and bid a couple of times but it's mega bucks to ship anything that size to Canada from the US, and most stuff comes from the US. We've got an amazing company here that makes cat trees, which is where the one I have now is from.

I've bought a few skirts and books that weren't really a bargain, but the premium stuff I mentioned in my initial post were most definitely major bargains.

E-Bay is the first place I look for anything I need. The most recent thing I purchased is two new Elgin watches for a grand total of $51 and that include shipping. I buy perfume, shoes, dresses, pieces of my silver flatware pattern, china for my daughter to match the set she inherited from her Grandmother, and too many other things to name. I did buy a wool rug for under my dining room table size 8 x 10 for just under $200. I love shopping there.

I just don't look at Ebay anymore. I get into trouble when I do!

But the best bargain we got was on our laptop. Scored a very nice HP laptop for $600, which was still under warranty! I think the only reason we got it that cheap was because it was a first time seller. Comparable laptops at the time were selling for $1200+. We got real lucky because the guy was super nice, a great seller - he just wanted some extra cash for Christmas.

I have to ask - what is your seller ID? I'll look for your stuff! I've bought glitter poms for my cats - are those the same as glitter balls and did you sell them to me?

I look for items for my business - full bolts of material and unusual items like shrink tubing (just bought some last night). I've sold stuff that was laying around the house collecting dust - books, magazines, etc. I actually sold my 25 year old set of Revere Wear cookware for more than what I paid for it originally. Used the money to buy a replacement set.

I buy and sell under auntie*em*creations and my husband uses if*i*only*had*a*brain. Guess where we live? LOL

Oh, I say that (about not finding bargains any more) but I have found some like this which if I remember correctly I actually paid about $39 for including shipping! Unfortuantely the vendor apparently wised up after this and now lists them for something a bit more in line with other prices online. They are there ... you just have to keep an eye out!

"Your one a day eBay package arrived"
