Are American Shorthairs ever in cat shows?

Yes there are many purebred American Shorthairs shown in the different associations. For awhile the most common (as they were not normally seen outside the general population of cats) color ASH were the Silver Tabbies. But any other colors can and are shown. They also have accepted the tabby and whites in recent years.
You betcha...though I moved from the East Coast 10 years ago, when I was there, there were beautiful American Shorthairs at the shows up and down the East Coast (especially silvers).
