A meeting is being arranged between me and his foster mommy as we speak. I really think this is the one. Doesn't he look sad in his cage? He's 1 yr old, neutered, affectionate and likes quiet.

What a pretty coat! Bless his heart, he does look sad
. But I think being adopted to a good home will change that!

I'm not in love with the name Bob.

Yet I think changing it would be confusing for him. Then I had a brainstorm.

Any Joplin fans here?
I was thinking of calling him "Bobby McGee."

That has long been a very special song for me. It wouldn't mean a big change for him, but it gives me warm fuzzies.

i think that would be a great idea - i've read that cats respond better to names that end in the long /e/ sound.

And he's really cute too! When will you be meeting him?
Hopefully tomorrow. I'm waiting for his foster mommy to get home from work.
