I'm 5'6", and hubby is 6'. I wear heels about once every 5 years (hate them!!!), and remove them after about an hour, so the issue has never arisen. My sister is 5'11", (she was 6', but started to shrink once she reached 40), and all of her partners have ranged from 5'6" to 6', so she just ignores height. Anyway, she can't find heels in her size (11 wide). I take an 8 1/2 W, so my choices are limited, too. Family trait: square feet!

Im just like Susan 5´1 i seriously wonder what it would be like to meet her!! finally found someone my own height!

to give you a rough idea! i couldnt find a man shorter than me unless its a dwarf or a boy who is under 13 and not in puberty yet

i have been with guys from 5´6 - 6´2 and its not pretty when its over 6´tall.. they end up teasing you as a walking ** but then again you boys are silly anyway

Ben was just right, he was about 180 cm tall

I'm 5 feet and half an inch (yes that half inch is very important!!!
) and hubby is 5 feet 9 inches. He's just the right height for me, he can reach tall things from shelves and when he puts his arm round me I nestle just in the right spot in the crook of his shoulder! Perfect

He: 6'1" or 6'2", 140 or so, lanky-framed.

Me: 5'3", 150-somethin', hourglass-shape.

Heh heh heh.

I'm just under 5'7" and Dave is 5'10", so that's pretty good. I like that he's taller than me, unless on those rare occasions I wear heels!

You're so right Susan. A Greek student who was equally as small as me once told me that in Greece they say that the most exquisite perfume comes in the smallest bottles

There you are - you're both exquisite

Just out of curiousity, is Kirby your SO's first or last name? I ask b/c my Patrick's last name is Kirby, and I don't hear it too often. Most of his friends call him Kirby, so I didn't know if it was the same for you!

My Kirby is a John Kirby. At one point he worked in an office with three other John's and thus became dubbed Kirby.

Furthermore, I refuse to be part of a John and Sara.

The only time it's confusing is with his family, his father is also a John Kirby.

It seems possible that within the last couple hundred years your Kirby and my Kirby are from the same part of Ireland?

I'm 5'6". John is 6'3". He is the tallest man I ever dated, and I really like him being so tall. I never felt petite before, but compared to him I'm a shorty!

I'm 5' 4", and Shawn is 6 feet. Most of the time it doesn't feel to me like he's all that much taller, but maybe that's 'cause I'm used to him.

He is 6 ft tall and weighs about 200. I am 5 ft. 2 and weigh about 130. So there is quite a bit of difference with us.

I bet they were! Do you know what part he was from? Patrick's family knows, they've done a pretty good family geneology (well, his parents did anyways). Patricks dad doesn't look irish to me at all (neither do his uncles, etc) but Patrick himself sure does! He's got the curly reddish hair (his beard is esp red for some reason, his hair is more brown with red) and the beautiful green/gold eyes. Hopefully we'll get to go visit sometime....
