Ok good, I am breathing easier then- some of the stuff that says it is safe to use on kittens isn't. I am surprised though that he had you give them a bath after spot on flea treatment was applied. I would just buy a flea comb tomorrow and keep combing them out until the fleas are gone.

I'm suprised that the vet didn't give you the Revolution for kittens 0-5lbs. Just stick with the Revolution, it will work, Buddy had a very bad case of fleas too. I had to keep him isolated for 24 hours in the bathroom with no rugs, so not to spread the fleas through the house. If you have to treat your house, you could get a flea bomb, but you and the kittens would have to leave the house for the few hours that it is working. Also cut up a flea collar and put it in your vacuum. It is okay according to the instructions of revolution to bath them a few hours after treating them, but I would wait at least a day until they are all dead.

Ummmm, I hate to be the one to state the obvious here, but fleas can jump through the bars of the crate onto people, rugs, clothes, towels, blankets, wherever they want to jump to and then be easily carried to your other cats. Crating these little ones isn't going to contain it.

Just curious....I`ve not had a flea problem with my indoor cats....but it seesm like if these kittens are already treated...and the fleas are on thier way to being dead anyhow...why would it matter if fleas got on other cats or people???? Are`nt they going to be dead in a few hours? (The fleas...not the cats) Or is there a chance they could lay eggs that could hatch out later? (Just thought i`d like to know...for future reference....in case! Ya never know!)

After treating a cat I was cat-sitting with Advantage, I still saw one flea alive and crawling around on her after 24 hours. I had totally flea-sprayed my house and washed everything, and finally got that one live flea and drowned it, and then never had anymore problems.

Have you flea-treated your house yet?
