My cat spoiled Rotten?

well I know he's spoiled..but spoiled rotten?!

What brings this up is today I was talking to my aunt and of course my mom and Jaelynn was with us and I was telling my aunt how Joey likes to let us know he's the baby by jumping in the crib whenever Jaelynn leaves. My aunt was like "Well of course he'll do that because you treat him like a baby all the dang time!!" Just the way she said that kinda got on my nerves..but then it hit me when she says, "That darn cat is so spoiled rotten!! You made him rotten!!" OK You guys know what I do with my cat cuz I tell you everyday.........is my Joey spoiled rotten? Did I make my cat rotten?

Some people think that anything a cat (or dog) does that denotes they're a part of the family makes them spoiled. Like, *gasp!* Your cat sits where he wants to sit? He's so spoiled!

I personally don't think it's even remotely possible to spoil a cat. I think it's just a term people use to imply that they love their cats and their cats love them back, but when people use it in a negative way, it really ruffles my feathers.

That is why we have them, so we can spoil them. Both of mine are spoiled and I am proud of it.

Me too! Matt always tell me I spoil them rotten (but he is just as bad when i am not looking) but to me its just showing your love and the more you love them the more they love you back.

If cats weren't meant to be spoiled, they wouldn't insist on it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

My cats are spoiled, but they were rotten before I got to 'em!

What's the point of having a cat if you're not going to spoil them?

I have friends who think that I'm daft and say that I spoil my cats, but if I wanted something fluffy that I could ignore and not spoil, I'd have gotten a stuffed teddy bear!
